I have been writing songs since I was 7 years old. I recorded my first album in 1972 on Windi records in Ca. with the band "Merkin". Our album "Music From Merkin Manor" became a collectors item, re-issued on Gear Fab records in CD, and in Italy on vinyl by Akarma records in 1999. We recorded a new album "Havin Fun" that year. I recorded "Face First" in 1987 on Suntana records, produced by Jim Pitman from "The Strawberry Alarm Clock" and "Stormhaven" in 1992 at Clear Lake Audio in Burbank Ca. produced by Brian Levi. Songs from that album including "Salt Lake Blues" are featured in my profile. I've toured with these, and other bands, arranged, produced, and performed studio, and hired gun guitar work for rock, blues, and country artists. I have a MA in English, a BA in English w/classical guitar minor, and a communications minor. My biggest influences are Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck.
